The care provided at My InstaDoc is different from what you’d find at an emergency room or hospital. For life-threatening emergencies, such as a serious injury or heart attack, patients should always go to the emergency room.
When your doctor is unavailable.
Urgent care facilities, like My InstaDoc, are there for patients who have an illness or injury that does not appear to be life threatening, but cannot necessarily wait until a primary care doctor is available to see them. These include sprains and strains; illnesses such as fever, flu, vomiting or diarrhea; diagnostic services like x-rays and blood testing; rashes and infections; minor fractures such as broken bones and toes; and similar circumstances. Because appointments with a primary care doctors or diagnostic testing can often take days or weeks to set up, urgent care is a timely alternative for more pressing medical needs. Think of urgent care as the convenient medical care provider that fills the gap between emergency care and primary care.
Urgent care is convenient.
Urgent care, like the care offered at My InstaDoc, is available at hours that extend beyond the usual 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. timeframe. This means that if you can’t get our facility until 6 or 7 p.m., we will still be open and available to speak with you. This is particularly convenient for those who are unable to change their working or childcare hours to attend to a health concern. Stop by My InstaDoc when you are able, and we will be here to help.
Urgent care is efficient.
No one wants to wait hours in the emergency room for a non-emergency health concern. This doesn’t even address the high costs individuals often encounter at an emergency department. At My InstaDoc, our focus is on addressing your concerns compassionately and efficiently, so you are able to begin managing your health issues quickly and get back to your life.
